Our Authentication Process

We use a 5-step process to guarantee the authenticity of the products we certify and sell on our website. Rest assured, when you purchase a piece of autographed memorabilia from GreenAndGoldAutographs.com, you are getting a truly authentic piece signed by the athlete.

Step 1: Obtain the autograph on the item

Seems so obvious, doesn't it? Every piece of memorabilia we have signed and certified is witnessed by a GreenAndGoldAutographs.com representative or an authorized agent of the athletes private and/or public signing appearance.

Step 2: Photograph the athlete signing the item(s)

A picture speaks a thousand words, or so they say! In this case, it says that the item you are receiving was definitely signed by the athlete. Along with witnessing each item we have signed and certified, we ensure the integrity of each item by taking photographs of the athlete signing each specific item type. You won't buy a mini helmet from us only to receive photographic evidence with your item that depicts the athlete signing something else like a full size helmet or a football! For most signings, numerous photos will be posted in the Recent Signings section of our website.

Step 3: Apply a tamper-proof authentication hologram to the item

GreenAndGoldAutographs.com affixes their own tamper evident, oval shaped, authentication hologram with distinct serial numbering to each piece of autographed memorabilia. When you see the G&G hologram on a piece of autographed Packers memorabilia, you can rest assured that your item is 100% authentic!

Step 4: Certificate of Authenticity (COA)

GreenAndGoldAutographs.com provides with each signed item a Certificate of Authenticity that clearly spells out the signer of the item, the specific item that was signed, and the date and location of the signing. Additionally, each COA contains a photograph of the athlete signing the type of item you are purchasing. Obviously, if we have an athlete sign 100 mini helmets we won't be taking 100 different photographs. However, if we hold multiple signings with an athlete over a given period of time, the item you will be receiving will contain a Certificate of Authenticity depicting a photo from the exact signing date and location in which your item was signed. We won't use the same photos over and over again, year after year!

Step 5: Apply a tamper-proof authentication hologram to the COA

With each item you receive, a matching serial numbered G&G hologram will be applied to the Certificate of Authenticity. This guarantees that both the item you are receiving and the Certificate of Authenticity are unique to your specific purchase!
